Key Details
Sunday 15th November
Hunter Valley Sports and Social (East Cessnock Bowling Club)
Level 2 students: that will be the Ballet costume, or Tap if not in Ballet.
Costumes
| Class | Fee | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Ready Set Ballet | $55 | 1 Ballet routine |
| Ready Set Acro | $55 | 1 Skills Demonstration routine |
| Ready Set Dance L2 | $65 | 1 Tap & Jazz routine (same costume) |
| Ready Set Dance L1 | $55 | 1 Dance routine |
Stockings (optional)
You can choose to put tan stockings on your child if you wish. Some kids prefer it so the skirt doesn't irritate them when the costume slips on or off; some prefer not to wear them.
If they are wearing stockings, the style to buy is matte tan stockings. We will have some stock at the studio the week before the concert.
Socks
All students to wear white frill socks under their shoes. If they have the RSD ones they are great, otherwise any white frill sock is ok.
Hair, Makeup & Extras
Ready Set Dance Level 2, Ballet & Acro
Hair: two high pigtails or two high buns.
Makeup: at your discretion. Our little stars do feel very fabulous on the day with a little powder, rouge and gloss, but we absolutely leave it up to you on what you wish to put on your child.
Please NO RED LIPSTICK.
Ready Set Dance Level 1
Hair: any style you like – just as long as it isn't in their eyes, so it doesn't distract or annoy them while dancing.
Makeup: no requirements for Level 1.
Drop Off & Supervision
Level 2 drop-off time: 11:00am
Students will use the stage entrance for drop off, which is the side door of Hunter Valley Sports and Social on Koree Street (see below). Please note that no parents are allowed to enter through this door – parents must go through the main entrance of the club.

What happens at drop off
When you arrive we will sign your child in. They will be given a coloured wristband and you will be given a collection tag of the same colour with your child's name on it. Staff or an assistant will then take students and their belongings to their coloured station.
From that point, you are welcome to grab a refreshment or find your seat in the stage area. Students will be taken into their coloured groups with their friends, where we have some fun activities set up to ease the drop off process. Each coloured group will have a staff member as team leader, plus senior students and volunteers assisting with costume or shoe changes and helping children to and from the stage.
Our changing area will also have a Room Manager, responsible for First Aid and backstage coordination. They will be contactable on the studio phone one hour before, during, and one hour after the show: 0438 837 359.

Let the Magic Happen
This show is about fun, not perfection.
Magic, not pressure.
Memories, not expectations.
It's about giving every child the opportunity and freedom to be themselves, find joy in performing, and shine in their own unique way.
Every child is on their own journey – growing, learning, finding confidence and discovering what they can do. So let's celebrate every brave step, every big smile, every little moment and every bit of magic along the way.
